Felix was born on November 8th in Corozal where he attended both Corozal Community College and Corozal Junior College, excelling academically, especially in the sciences. Upon moving to Belize City he went on to make his mark as part of Belize’s premiere media houses- Love FM. As a member of Love FM he was able to gain experience in many different fields. His dedication and passion for Journalism and everything he takes on has made him excel in all his endeavors. Felix has been a volunteer with the Alliance Against AIDS and Belize Red Cross for a number of years. Felix is engaged in radio and has a personal interest in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS. Felix is a visionary thinker, engaged in developing solutions to some of his country’s greatest challenges. Felix’s involvement will not only impact the young people with whom he works, but also generate larger scale impacts through his continued part-time work in the media.
Though Journalism was a passion for him, in 2002 Felix chose to follow his second passion: teaching. He enrolled as a faculty member at Muffles College in August of that same year. He is still a member of faculty at Muffles College where he is an English and Literature teacher, teaching all four levels at Muffles and has also been the Moderator for the Student Government Association. In his life and work, Felix lives up to principles of honesty, integrity and hard work.
