José Luis Cruz Nicolás

José Luis Cruz Nicolás, a 22-year-old Misquito youth leader, is committed to working with local Misquito youth on the prevention of drug abuse and unwanted pregnancies. As a Spanish/Misquito bilingual youth volunteer at his church, José Luis truly leads by example and shares his passion for life and positive energy with the youth in his community. In order to complete his high school degree in computers and information technology, José works as a bricklayer. As the youngest member of the team, Jose Luis has not had the privilege of much formal education, but has worked in SRH education of young men and women in his community. His goal is to strengthen his skills as a youth leader and use mass communication to educate youth on SRH.
