Catherine works as Youth Enhancement Coordinator at the Department of Youth Services in the Belize district, where she works with at-risk youth, ensuring they have access to training that responds to their needs. Through GOJoven Belize, her short term goal is to learn as much as possible about sexual and reproductive health in order to go out to communities and give young people the knowledge they need to protect themselves. Her long term goals include earning an advanced degree in sexual and reproductive health and working towards achieving zero new infections of HIV and other STIs. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University.
