Mexican and Central American adolescents continue to face high risks of early pregnancy and STI/HIV infection. There is a lack of political will and funding to support adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) programs and a lack of or inadequate implementation of laws and policies supporting ASRH.
Your contribution supports youth leaders to advocate for comprehensive sexual education and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services.
With your support, young leaders can:
|Print youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health training booklets
|Attend an HIV-prevention training
|Train a teacher on appropriate ways to deliver sex education to youth
|Build a health professional’s ability to provide youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services
|Hold a press conference to hold the government accountable to its commitment to provide comprehensive sex education
|Conduct an advocacy training for youth in their community
|Run a campaign to educate the public on the need for comprehensive sex education and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services
