Gabriela is originally from Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. She was selected as a GOJoven Fellow when she was 22 years old. After succesfully completing the full GOJoven training under GOJoven Guatemala in their 2017-2018 cohort of young leaders, along with implementation of her Leadership Action Plan, she graduated from the program in 2018. She currently resides in Antigua Guatemala, where she hopes to continue applying her leadership skills to advance young people’s sexual and reproductive health in her community.
