WestWind Foundation

WestWind Foundation is dedicated to fighting climate change and promoting the health of human communities through its grant making programs. WestWind is a private, philanthropic foundation that provides grants to environmental non-profit organizations that work both domestically and internationally.

The foundation also supports non-profits that promote reproductive health and rights globally, with a particular emphasis on the Latin American and Caribbean region.

The Foundation is also committed to ensuring better access to sex education. With their partners’ Advocates for YouthAnswer and Youth Tech Health, they launched an online sex education resource for young adolescents called AMAZE. This video playlist, produced by young animators, is engaging, age appropriate, and fun. In addition to producing honest and engaging animated videos for very young adolescents (ages 10-14), they also envision AMAZE as a resource for parents and educators to build their comfort, knowledge, and skill to more effectively engage young adolescents on topics like puberty, body image, healthy relationships and sexual health.
